The Danish Financial Benchmark Facility (DFBF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nina Byrne as its new Managing Director.
Nina joins the DFBF after a long career in banking and brings a wealth of experience having worked in senior roles for Danske Bank in both London and Copenhagen. Nina also spent a 10-year period working for Credit Suisse First Boston in London as Head of the Scandinavian Repo activity.
During the past year, Nina has chaired the DFBF Oversight Committee and is therefore familiar with the suite of Danish benchmarks and well positioned to continue the evolution of the benchmarks which has taken place in recent years.
Nina says, “I feel privileged for taking on the position as Managing Director of DFBF. The role of DFBF in Denmark is important being one of the contributing factors in maintaining a well-functioning fixed income financial market. I have throughout my career within the financial sector worked diligently to create transparency and this opportunity, combined with the role of DFBF, is what I would describe as a perfect match”.

Nina will join DFBF on 13 March 2023 and formerly take over the role as Managing Director from Jesper Mortensen after a short period of transition.
